A small red-light district in the middle of the Dreta de l’Eixample welcomed the visitor of El Voyeur Invitado. Behind the glass, instead of escorts, two LumiDolls First reflection of the day: can a sex doll be considered a prostitute?
Upon entering the gallery, a television animated to interact with the exhibition: How much would you pay to fuck ? how much would you prostitute yourself? At Apricots, we decided to organize The Invited Voyeur because we felt the need to inform about the paid sex sector, often perceived as obscure and controversial, but at the same time, intriguing.
It seems that for society, workers and companies in the sector are not yet entitled to speak freely about their activity. That is why we wanted the artists to make the public think about prostitution, because art stirs minds and removes prejudices.
